Facilities Maintenance Lead- North Branch, MN 

• Schwing Bioset, Inc. located in North Branch, MN is a pioneer in developing high performance, material handling solutions dedicated to serving the wastewater, mining, and industrial markets with specialized products and engineered solutions. SBI is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician.

  Position requirements:

  • Overseeing maintenance of 7 buildings in MN/WI.
  • Coordinate maintenance tasks in all buildings.
  • Ensure timely response and completion of repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Monitor maintenance costs, and upholding safety standards within each building.
  • Requires expertise in multiple trades like electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Responsible for equipment inspections including production equipment maintenance, crane inspections as well as documenting all aspects of maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Communicate and coordinate sub-contractors including Snow Plowing, HVAC, Electrical, etc. as needed.
  • Responsible for obtaining quotes from contractors and presenting them to the Maintenance Manager for approval.
  • Coordinate all maintenance and repairs with managers at each location.
  • Performs any special requests to move, bend, and lift items.
  • Conduct all activities within the guidelines of company policies, procedures, and work rules.

  Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.

  Must be able to use a computer and Excel.

  Must have good communication skills.

  We are looking for at least two years of current maintenance experience within multiple buildings.

  Must be flexible with hours to meet subcontractors as needed.

  Starting pay depending on qualifications and experience.

  Qualifications:

  · High School Diploma or GED required.

  · Must have at least two years current experience in a maintenance role. General construction, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC preferred.

  · Basic understanding of machinery to replace defective parts.

  · Must be able to use common hand and power tools.

  · Ability to check and read blueprints, parts catalogs, and repair manuals.

  Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.

  Supporting Qualifications:

  · Must be handy with power and hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, etc.

  · Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.

  · Self-starter who can multi-task while paying great attention to detail.

  · Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure in all environmental elements.
